I worked with Jack as a support analyst. He was always a go to type guy and very professional. I also had the privilege of bowl in the same league with Jack for years. He was always a gracious competitor and good company. I am sorry his retirement was so short. I am sure he is in a better place today.

I would like to express my sympathy to Jack's family. I worked with Jack at Caterpillar nearly 38 years ago in IT. We both enjoyed golf (Highview Hills Country Club) and bowling (Crossroads Lanes) in the CAT Leagues together. Jack's personality seemed quiet and layed-back in business, however; I found him very competitive and athletic outside of the office. I will always remember him as a fellow Information Technology (IT) Professional and gentlemen. My prayers of comfort and encouragement go out to the entire family. Jack will be truly missed.

Jack was extremely knowledable of the upper level systems within Cat. He was always willing to share his knowledge. I always enjoyed it when he would say I don' t know much about that then you really needed to pay attention because he would proceed to tell you in depth from start to finish how it worked.
