Canton – Genevieve J. “Ginny” Wilson, 84, of Canton, died at 5:40 a.m. Saturday June 2, 2012 at Heartland Health Care Center of Canton.
She was born in Peoria on November 24, 1927 to Benjamin Thomas and Mary Eva (Jacobson) Lowe.
She married Max R. Wilson. He preceded her in death on January 25, 2008.
Surviving are five children Butch Hicks of Peoria, Ron Hicks of El Paso, Robby (LaTonya) Wilson of Peoria, Doris Murphy of Canton and Geneva Clubs of Peoria, 21 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son Tom Hicks, brother Benjamin Lowe II and three sisters Frances Bumeter, Hazel McClaskey and Evelyn Kenny.
Visitation will be held 4-5 p.m. Wednesday June 6, with services starting at 5:00 p.m. at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton. Cremation rites will follow. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown.
Memorials may be made to Harbor Light Hospice.

Altough i never got to truly know you , i love you as if u were my grandma and we should all not cry but rejoice. For now we all know you are safe in gods graceful hands ....home safe and sound at last as we all hope to be some day We will all love and miss you very much
